Offered is a New York Yankees Cooperstown Mitchell & Ness Large sized pinstripe flannel jersey signed by Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio. The jersey has the Yankees interlocking NY in navy blue felt. DiMaggio’s number “5” is in navy felt as well and the jersey is made of wool. DiMaggio signed this jersey in black marker ink below the interlocking NY. At the bottom of the jersey stitched in is a message that states, “ IN THE SUMMER OF ’41 JOE DIMAGGIO HIT SAFELY IN 56 STRAIGHT GAMES WEARING THESE NEW YORK YANKEE PINSTRIPES” all in navy blue tackle twill, and “LE 127/325” is embroidered in red. This jersey is an excellent addition to Yankees and baseball fans alike. The lot comes with a photo of DiMaggio in his golden years signing the jersey and a Fanatics Hologram Verification (0931836).
