Presented is a photograph of the historic and legendary duo of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. The M&M Boy were known for their 1961 season that saw the teammates battle back and forth for Babe Ruth’s record of 60 homeruns in a single season. Maris would eventually break Ruth’s record with 61 homeruns in the final game of the season, while Mantle finished with 54 home runs while having to nurse an injury towards the end of the season.
The M&M boys are seen in their pinstriped New York Yankees uniform staring back at the viewer, each with a bat over their shoulder. This piece comes matted and framed to a dimension of 15 x 17 inches. Each player has signed this piece in bold blue ink over their image, respectively. This piece comes with a LOA by PSA/DNA (U02912) who graded these signatures a perfect 10.
