He may be the most complete baseball player in the game today, and as proof Mike Trout has been either first or second in the American League MVP voting each of his first four full Major League seasons. During his rookie season, Trout made his first of what will be many All-Star appearances, when he suited up for the American League at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.

Trout would get one at-bat and hit a single to center field of then New York Mets pitcher R. A. Dickey. This game used baseball was from the same inning in which Trout collected his first ever all-star hit. This Official Ball 2012 ALL-STAR GAME Allan H. Selig baseball displays outstanding use with a bat mark on the side panel and evidence of the ball being rubbed down. The blue and gray laced 2012 All-Star Game logo is on the side panel and Trout signed his name in dark blue pen below that logo and inscribed “1st ASG”. This baseball has been authentic by MLB Authenticated (EK 232190) which indicated that this ball was hit for a foul back to the screen by Miguel Cabrera off of Dickey in the bottom of the sixth inning. Cabrera was three batters behind Trout. The MLB Authenticated hologram also covers the signature of Trout.
