Offered here is a game-used baseball signed by 14 members of the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. After a 108 year drought, this edition of the Cubbies overcame a 3-1 deficit against the Cleveland Indians in the World Series to deliver a title to the North Side of Chicago. This ball was used on April 11, 2016, during a division game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Cubs. The game ended 5-3 in favor of the Cubs, and featured a three-run comeback in the last two innings by the Cubs. John Lester started the game for the Cubs, with Trevor Cahill, Adam Warren, and Hector Rondon closing out the game. Warren got the win with Rondon pitching a 1-2-3 9th inning for the save. Addison Russell and Jason Heyward led the way for the Cubs in this game, knocking in all five runs. Brian Finnegan started the game for the Reds. The signatures on this ball include Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Addison Russell, Javier Baez, Kyle Hendricks, Ben Zobrist, Dexter Fowler, Jorge Soler, Jason Hammel, Miguel Montero, Pedro Strop, and Trevor Cahill.
