Offered here is a Rawlings Official American League baseball signed by “The Voice of the New York Yankees”, Mel Allen. The Yankees main play-by-play announcer for over four decades, Allen called some of the most memorable plays in baseball history, including Bill Mazeroski’s World Series-winning home run in Game 7 of the 1960 Fall Classic. This baseball, which bears the stamped signature of American League President Bobby Brown, is signed by Allen in blue pen right on the sweet spot. Underneath his signature, Allen inscribed “H.O.F. 1978”. This item comes with a PSA/DNA COA (T39388).
