Baltimore Orioles shortstop Manny Machado had a spectacular 2013 season. Machado led the American League with 51 doubles, while cracking 14 home runs, driving in 71 runs and sporting a .283 average. This Marucci AR-13-A model bat was used by Machado during the 2013 season and was broken during the game against the Tampa Bay Rays on May 18, 2013 off pitcher Alexander Torres in the bottom of the 8th inning. This all-black bat displays outstanding use and has been cracked on the handle. Several ball marks and stich impressions are visible and Machado signed his name in silver pen on the barrel. This bat is accompanied by a MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ 709558) which dates this game used bat to the May 18th game in which it was broken at the handle and a LOA from JSA (Y41193) for his signature.
