The New York Yankees christened their new ballpark in true pinstripe fashion by winning 103 games and claiming their 27th World Championship by defeating the defending World Champions Philadelphia Phillies in six games. This Rawlings Official 2009 World Series ball carries the game's gold stamped logo and has been signed by 29 members of the World Champs. Signatures on this baseball include manager Joe Girardi on the sweet spot, along with the LE “88/250”, Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Robinson Cano, Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, Alex Rodriguez, Mark Teixeira, Hideki Matsui, C.C. Sabathia, Eric Hinske, Phil Hughes and several others. All of the signatures have been signed in blue ink and are clear. The baseball is in good condition and it comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 438424) which authenticates the signatures of Rodriguez, Hughes and Hinske. There is also a Steiner Sports hologram and this ball also comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07859), which has authenticated all 29 signatures.
