Hall of Famer Michael Strahan spent his entire career with the New York Giants, where the defensive end led Big Blue to two Super Bowl appearances and a victory over the undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. 1999 was an Pro-Bowl season for Strahan as he 5.5 sacks and had a 44-yard game-winning overtime pick-six against the Philadelphia Eagles at Veterans Stadium on October 31, 1999. Strahan wore this blue New York Giants helmet during the 1999 season. This dark blue helmet has a raised red stripe down the center and GIANTS adhered to each side in white. The NFL shield decal and Strahan’s number “92” are affixed to the lower back left of the helmet and the warning decal is on the lower back right. The facemask is all-white and the helmet displays excellent use with numerous abrasions and scuff marks. The inner padding is still intact and this helmet comes with a photo matched and this is a great early career helmet from one of the best defensive ends in NFL history. This helmet was previously displayed as a Michael Strahan display at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
