Holiday Auction Closing December 3
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/4/2016
In the vaunted annals of Yankeedom, there is 1927, there is 1961, and there is 1998. That mighty triumvirate shines the brightest of all those 27 world championships and represents all the glory, magic, splendor and greatness that is the Bronx Bomber legacy. First came Ruth and Gehrig, then Mantle and Maris, and finally Jeter and company with their record-shattering 125 total wins—earning them accolades as one of the greatest teams of all time.
ANY 1998 Yankees ring to hit the auction block is a cause for celebration, especially given how rare they are and hard to come by in the secondary market. This quite stunning, diamond-studded "A" ring (identical to those received by players) is no exception. The 14K-gold, approximate size 10 treasure was bestowed upon a recipient by the name of "FORREST" and showcases NM condition. This ring is the first 1998 Yankees ring that we have presented since David Cone's offering sold in our May auction for just shy of $40,000.
