The Philadelphia 76ers made the big acquisition in 2001 when they picked up center Dikembe Mutombo from the Atlanta Hawks at the February trade deadline. Paired up with future Hall of Famer Allen Iverson, the duo led the Sixers to the 2001 NBA Finals as Eastern Conference Champions.

Mutombo wore this size XXXL pullover blue warm-up top during the remainder of the 2001 season with Philadelphia. This nylon Champion warm-up top has “SIXERS” sewn on in white and black tackle twill with the NBA logo embroidered to the left. The white Champion logo is embroidered below the collar and two black horizontal stripes are on both sides of the “SIXERS” and NBA logo. The back of the pullover has the 76ers logo patch sewn on below the white embroidered Champion logo. The “2001 NBA FINALS” logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve indicating that this was worn during that finals appearance. The Champion XXXL tag with “55” handwritten in black, along with the “DESIGNED & TAILORED BY CHAMPION EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE PHILADELPHI 76ers” tag are sewn on the bottom front left tail. This warm-up top shows light use and comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
