New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes wore this size 44 Majestic button-down New York Mets pinstripe home jersey on September 15, 2007 against the Philadelphia Phillies at Shea Stadium. This jersey shows outstanding game use with a large dirt stain on the front and left side where Reyes went 1-3 in the Phillies 5-3 victory. “Mets” and Reyes’ number “7” are sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill on the front of the jersey. The back of the jersey has the MLB logo patch sewn on the upper neck in Mets’ colors with “REYES” and “7” sewn on in blue, orange and black tackle twill. The left sleeve has the Mets cityscape logo patch sewn on above the Majestic logo, which is embroidered in blue. The Majestic tag with the “+1 “slv”, “44” and “set 4 2007” flags are sewn on the inside front left tail. This jersey has a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 521680) which covers the jersey’s use during the September 15th game and a LOA from Steiner Sports.

      Also included in this lot is a size 7 ¾ New Era blue Mets fitted wool cap was worn by Reyes. This all-blue cap with a gray underside brim has the raised interlocking “NY” in orange and the MLB logo in Mets colors embroidered on the back. This hat shows excellent use with sweat stains on the inside head band. The number “7” has been hand written in blue marker on the inside of the cap. This game used hat comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports.
