New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes used this bat during the September 16, 2006 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. This Marucci JR7 model bat shows light use with a repaired handle crack. Several prominent ball marks with stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel with white leather ball scuffs and cleat imprints. A light coat of Mota Stick is on the handle and the date of manufacture “8/9/06”, number “7” (traced in white), length 3.5” and weight “1.3” are stamped into the knob. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (I02972). Please note that there is a MLB Authenticated hologram on the barrel of the bat. However, the numbers on the hologram are not readable. In addition, the corresponding PSA/DNA sticker from the LOA that accompanies this game used bat is no longer on the cupped end of the barrel, but the LOA is still the authentication for the game use.
