Offered here is an Everlast punching speed bag signed by Muhammad Ali. This speed bag, which is used for training a boxers punching speed, agility, and reactions is red and made of leather. Ali’s proficiency at hitting a speed bag was legendary. One of the quickest punchers of all time, Ali’s jabs seemed to travel at the speed of light. Perhaps his most famous punch, the “phantom punch” delivered against Sonny Liston in Ali-Liston II, was so quick that Ali had to ask his trainer if he had actually hit him. That punch was so powerful it felled the powerful Liston in the first round of their fight.
Ali signed this gyro balanced speed bag in black Sharpie in the middle of one of the side panels. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04065).
