Holiday Auction Closing December 3
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/4/2016
Offered here is a lot of two 20x16 inch signed photographs of the 1986 New York Mets. The photograph, taken just after the Mets clinched the deciding Game 7 of the World Series, shows the Mets jumping into a giant dog pile on the field. The 86 Mets won the World Series thanks to a combination of Mookie Wilson’s bat and Bill Buckner’s lack of defensive acumen. The 86 championship was the second World Series title for the Mets, and their last to date. This photograph is signed by Doc Gooden, Gary Carter, Darryl Strawberry, Wally Backman, Mookie Wilson, Lenny Dykstra, Keith Hernandez, and other members of the 1986 Mets. This item comes pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
