Offered here is the game used first base from Tom Glavine’s historic 299th career victory. This base was used on July 25th, 2007, from the first inning through the third inning of the New York Mets 6-3 victory against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates. The aging Glavine went six innings to get the win, allowing three runs while striking out two Pirates. Glavine signed this base in blue marker and inscribed “299th win 7-25-07” underneath his signature. On two sides of the base is the Mets’ logo, while MLB’s logo and the slogan “I Live For This” are affixed to the other two sides. This base is covered in reddish-brown infield dirt and comes with MLB Authentication (BB521518) and a PSA/DNA COA (AB73599).
