Alex Rodriguez played his last road game of his career in front of a capacity crowd at Fenway Park on August 11, 2016. In his last at-bat, A-Rod provided an insurance run when his bases-loaded dribbler scored Brett Gardner from third base to give the Yankees a 4-2 lead. Rodriguez would play his last game the next night at home against the Orioles.
Rodriguez’s size 48 button-down Majestic Flex Base road gray jersey features “NEW YORK” sewn on across the chest in navy blue and white tackle twill. The Majestic tag and Yankees bar code (0000006813) tag are screen printed on the bottom front left tail. Rodriguez’ “13” is sewn on the back of the jersey in navy blue and white tackle twill and the vinyl MLB logo patch is sewn on the upper neck in navy blue, white and gray. The left sleeve has a black number “8” sewn on in memory of Yankees’ legend Yogi Berra and each sleeve has a navy blue/white/navy blue band. The jersey shows light game use and this historic jersey has a MLB Authenticated hologram (JC 098482) which dates this jersey to the August 11th game and a full LOA from Yankees/Steiner Sports (242285).
