For Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, the 2015-16 season was a historic one. His league-leading 30.1 points per game and record-setting 402 three-point season long performance, led his Warriors to set the NBA regular season win record with 73, eclipsing the mighty 1995-96 Chicago Bulls 72-win campaign. This earned Curry his second consecutive MVP award, and first ever unanimous choice for MVP. Aside from his brilliant shooting, precision passing and deft dribbling, Curry is also know for dangling his mouthpiece from the side of his mouth, akin to Michael Jordan sticking out his tongue while driving to the basket.
Offered is one of those mouthpieces used by the most famous of “Splash Brothers” Stephen Curry during the 2015-16 season. The mouth guard was custom-fit to Curry’s teeth and made of flexible rubber. On the side of this clear mouth guard is the blue Warriors logo and a blue strip with yellow writing that reads “#30 CURRY”. The molded mouth piece shows bite marks and other markings consistent with use and comes in a gray case that has “CURRY” taped on the edge. This mouth guard was likely used for a few games. Included with this Stephen Curry game used item is a letter of provenance from the lucky fan who was able to obtain this item following the December 31, 2015 game between the Warriors and the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center in Houston.
