Displayed is a stunning photograph of a young Mickey Mantle. Mickey can be seen with his bat over his right shoulder, sporting his New York Yankee uniform and staring right at the viewer. To his left Mickey himself has personally inscribed the words “Bess wishes to my friend at the artist proof” with his signature directly underneath, all written in black ink. The photograph has some small white tears on the far left and right of the portrait. Nevertheless, it does not take away from the focal point of Mantle and his character as it is virtually unscathed. This photograph is contained within a wooden frame and stands 42 ½ x 32 ½ inches, and comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (D57799).
