      Offered here is a lot of two portraits of Mickey Mantle. The first, by the artist Robert Tanenbaum, is titled “Yesterday When I was Young” and features portraits of The Mick at different points of his life and baseball career. The painting, which is circular and surrounded by a navy border, features a list of Mantle’s many career achievements in bright red text. They are “1956 Triple Crown”, “16 Times All Star”, “2401 Games”, “3 Time MVP”, “18 World Series Home Runs”, and “Switch Hitter”. At the bottom of the portrait is an overhead view of Yankee Stadium.

      The second piece of artwork, which features a portrait of Mantle over four paintings of him at different points of his iconic swing. The background of the painting is Yankee Stadium as seen from behind home plate. The portrait is titled “Yankee Pride” and is by the painter Brian Johnson. Johnson created this painting in 1991. Around the edge of the circular painting are baseballs containing Mantle’s career accolades inside of baseballs. They read “Elected to Hall of Fame 1974”, “10 Sea. Over .300 Ba”, “536 Career H.R. Switch Hitter”, “M.V.P. 1956 1957 1962”, “1957 Batting Title .365 Ba”, “Triple Crown 1956”, “12 HR per A.B. World Series”, “40 World Series R.B.I.”, “18 World Series H.R.”, “15 H.R.s per AB Reg. Sea.”, “54 H.R.’s single sea.”, and “16 All-Star appearances”. The text in each baseball is written in blue lettering.
