No player has better represented the New York Yankees in the past quarter century than the Bronx Bombers captain, Derek Jeter. Offered here is a lot of two signed tickets from two different periods of Jeter’s legendary Yankee career. The first ticket, from Game 7 of the 1998 World Series, features Jeter’s signature in blue Sharpie over the logo used for the World Series that year. This ticket is unique as Game 7 of the 1998 World Series never took place, as the Yankees swept the San Diego Padres in four games to win the second of Jeter’s four World Series titles. This item has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83844744) and graded AUTHENTIC. The ticket also has a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 096583).
The second item of this lot is a ticket from Game 1 of the 2012 American League Championship Series, held at Yankee Stadium. This series, which the Detroit Tigers swept in four games, represents the last postseason appearance in Jeter’s historic career. “Mr. November” signed this item in blue Sharpie pen over the bar code. This item has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83844740) and graded AUTHENTIC. The ticket also has a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 096584).
