Chicago Cubs pitcher Jon Lester came up through the Boston Red Sox system and spent nine years with the Sox, leading them to two World Series titles (2007 & 2013). Lester also threw a no-hitter during the 2008 season.

      Lester wore this size 52 Majestic button-down home Boston Red Sox jersey during the 2012 season. “RED SOX” is arched across the chest in sewn-on red and navy blue tackle twill. Red piping runs along the collar and down both sides of the buttons. “31” is sewn on the back of the jersey in red and navy blue tackle twill. The right sleeve has the “100 YEARS FENWAY PARK” green patch sewn on and the left sleeve has the navy blue embroidered Majestic logo. The Majestic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with the team patch that reads “31 52 ‘12”, indicating the player, size and year of the jersey. The jersey shows moderate use with some stains and was worn before August 13th as the Red Sox wore a commemorative Johnny Pesky patch following his passing.
