Winter Auction 2017 Ending January 29

Offered here is a lot of four Everlast boxing gloves dual-signed by Sugar Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns. Hearns and Leonard fought each other twice in their careers, in 1981 and 1989, and both fights are regarded as two of the greatest fights of all-time by boxing historians and fans.
In the first battle, Leonard defeated Hearns to unify the welterweight titles. The fight lasted a grueling 14 rounds until the ref stopped the fight after Leonard viciously battered Hearns with multiple combinations.
The second fight was much more closely contested, and lasted a full 12 rounds. Hearns knocked Leonard down twice in the fight, but each time Leonard recovered. The judges, in a somewhat shocking result, declared the fight a draw. Much of the crowd at Caesar’s Palace believed Hearns deserved the decision, and years later Leonard even admitted he felt the same way. Regardless of the outcome of this fight, both Hearns and Leonard are regarded as two of the greatest boxers of all-time.
These four gloves are black 14 oz Everlast models, with a gold and black Everlast logo on the wrist. All four are signed in silver Sharpie near the top of the glove. These items come with individual PSA/DNA COAs (7A73807, 7A73808, 7A73817, 7A73833).
