Offered here is a Babe Ruth Sports Impression Collector Plate. Painted by Joseph Catalano in 1987 and released in 1992, this 81/2 diameter commemorative plate features multiple portraits of The Babe mid-swing around one main photo of Ruth holding a bundle of bats. A depiction of the famous façade of Yankee Stadium is located on the right. The plate is rimmed with gold plate featuring Ruth’s name at the top and his nickname “The Sultan of Swat” at the bottom. This is a rare item, one of only 5,000, and comes with a Sports Impressions COA (002184).
