Al Barlick was a Major League umpire in the National League for 28 seasons and was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 1989. Barlick, in the course of his illustrious 22-year career, umpired seven All-Star games and seven World Series. This Official National League Charles S. Feeney baseball, dated to 1974-1976, has been signed and inscribed by the great Joe DiMaggio in dark blue pen. DiMaggio’s signature and his inscription that reads “To Al Barlick A deserving vote to a Hall of Famer Best Always” has been written on the side panel and runs into the Feeney Commissioner’s stamp. The baseball displays toning and the black stampings are slightly faded, but the signature and inscriptions of DiMaggio are excellent. This baseball comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (Q09217).
