Presented is a photograph of the Enola Gay, a Boeing B – 29 Super fortress Bomber and Paul Tibbets, its pilot. Enola Gay and Paul Tibbets are infamous for being the aircraft to drop the atomic bomb “Little Boy” over Hiroshima, Japan, during the final stages of WWII.
This photograph is signed in blue ink by Tibbets himself, having inscribed the date of the notorious bombing “6 Aug, 1945”. This black and white photograph stands 8 x 10 inches and is unframed. Included is a COA from PSA/DNA (AB73606).
