New York Jets center Nick Mangold wore this New York Titans throwback helmet during the December 2, 2007 game in Miami’s Dolphin Stadium where the Jets were victorious 40-13. This full-size Riddell helmet is navy blue with a solid gold stripe down the center. The facemask is gray and the helmet displays outstanding use with numerous scuff marks and abrasions. The back of the helmet has the NFL shield decal, a “21” decal in honor of Washington Redskins player Sean Taylor, who was killed outside his home in Miami on November 26th and an American flag decal. “RIDDELL” is on the front of the helmet in navy blue between the screws that are holding the facemask on and the helmet still has the original white chin strap. This helmet comes with a COA from the New York Jets that date this helmet to the December 2nd game.
