Celebrating their 2014 World Series championship, the San Francisco Giants presented their heroes with their 2014 World Series rings on April 18, 2015 before the game with the Arizona Diamondbacks. For this occasion, the Giants wore special home jerseys for that game and this jersey was worn by pitcher Tim Hudson. This cream colored Majestic Cool Base button down jersey features “Giants” sewn on and scripted across the chest in gold, black and orange tackle twill. Hudson’s number “17” is sewn on the center front left chest in the same color pattern. The back of the jersey has “17” sewn on in gold, black and orange tackle twill and the sleeves have a gold/black/gold piping pattern. The right sleeve has a “2014 World Series Champions” patch, while the right sleeve has a “GIANTS” logo patch. Also on the left sleeve is a memorial “LON” patch honoring broadcaster Lon Simmons, who passed away in April 2015. This jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 420466) which authenticates this jersey to the April 18th game. Please note that Hudson did not pitch in the April 18th game, but did wear this jersey on the bench.
