Presented here is a signed check by former owner of the New York Yankees and Hall of Famer Jacob Ruppert. As owner of the New York Yankees, Ruppert purchased the legendary Babe Ruth, and built the New York Yankee Stadium in The Bronx. At his time The Yankee’s included the infamous Murderer’s Row which saw them win several World Series including three consecutive World Series wins.
This check is titled: The American League Baseball Club. It is dated January 1st, 1922, and was paid to the order of T.L. Huston, for $700. Ruppert has signed the lower right, in black ink. This check comes encapsulated in a 7 ½ x 10 ½ inch SGC holder.
