As the former top overall pick in the draft in 2004, lots of success was expected of Carson Palmer. Despite helping lead the Cincinnati Bengals to two playoff appearances, Palmer was dealt to the Oakland Raiders prior to the 2011 season.

      This Carson Palmer size 48 Reebok road Cincinnati Bengals jersey has been photo matched by game use jersey expert Dave Miedema to the November 14, 2010 game against the Indianapolis Colts based on the “rip” next to his number on the front. This white jersey has Palmer’s number “9” on the front stitched in black on orange tackle twill. The NFL logo is at the bottom of the V-neck collar, and the black with yellow stars Captain’s patch is sewn on the upper right chest. The back has the name “PALMER” in white on black tackle twill on an orange name plate, with his number “9” below in similar style as the front. His number is stitched on both shoulders in white and black tackle twill. This mesh jersey with stretchable side panels is custom fitted with hemmed shoulders and waist. The jersey shows light to moderate use and the team tag that reads “08-48 S” is sewn on the inside back collar. Despite the tagging, Miedema’s opinion is that this jersey was used in this 2010 based on the markings and the Captain’s patch design. Also included in this lot is a pair of size 38 “SHORT” black Reebok game pants that were also worn by Palmer in 2010.

      These black pants have orange and black Bengal stripes down each side and have black socks sewn on at the knees. A white patch with “10” in black is sewn on the inside front waist with “9” being hand written in black marker on the inside waist. The pants show moderate use. Both the jersey and pants come with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
