This release showcases the upstart AFL squads, and is chock-full of Hall of Famers such as; Jack Kemp, Don Maynard, George Blanda, Len Dawson, Lance Alworth, Jim Otto and Nick Buoniconti along with other, less famous, AFL stalwarts. Those significant "role players" such as Babe Parilli, Cookie Gilchrist, Billy Cannon, Abner Haynes, Fred Williamson and Ernie Ladd gave the fledgling league quality players and colorful character.
