Manufactured by Artcarved, this 10K-gold, size 9 ring features "LSU" set within a purple stone surrounded by a border of CZs. Logos for LSU, the SEC and the NCAA appear on the shanks. The inner band is engraved, "Robert Parham." EX/MT condition. An accompanying 2007 purchase LOA references Parham as a javelin thrower. The 2005-06 LSU Track & Field Media Guide describes him as part of a heroic relay team: "In 2001, it was LSU once again picking up a national title...Needing a miracle in the final event of the NCAA Indoor Championships, the Tigers' prayers were answered when the foursome of Robert Parham, Lueroy Colquhoun, Pedro Tunon and Alleyne Francique won the 4x400-meter relay, while TCU failed to score, giving the Tigers a 34-33 edge over the Horned Frogs in one of the most exciting finishes in NCAA history."
