Four decades have passed and linebacker Arnie Weatherington still remains the University of Pittsburgh's all-time leader in sacks with 477. While Tony Dorsett was leading the 1976 offense, Weatherington and the defense held opponents to just 225 yards and 11 points per game. His Balfour 10K-gold, size 11 ½ ring is crowned by a 20-point diamond and features great shank logo designs of Pitt, the Panthers and the Sugar Bowl. NM condition. Accompanied by a Balfour box, 1997 purchase LOA and 1997 Balfour invoice for replacing the previously cracked blue stone. As a point of reference on value, it is important to note that former Pitt Coach Bob Leahy's 1976 Panthers ring sold at auction in 2014 for $12,000.
