This is one of a few cards from the legendary T3 Turkey Red issue to feature a play rather than a player. The cards from this set that feature players seem to show up a little more regularly due to the nature in which these cards were distributed, as a premium that you had to send in for. The obvious choice, when sending in to Turkey Red, would be to request a star player or at least someone that you're a fan of instead of one of the action scenes. Back then collectors didn't know what they'd be missing, this "Safe at Third" is a fantastic horizontal image and is absolutely visually stunning. Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA due to a crease near the upper left corner, otherwise a stellar card.
