Offered here is a lot of three signed baseballs and one signed photograph. The first of the baseballs is signed by Milwaukee Brewers slugger Eddie Mathews. Mathews signed this ball in blue ballpoint pen, adding the inscription “512 HR’s”. In addition to his signature, his career statistics are engraved on the ball in gold ink. This ball comes contained in a clear plastic case and a PSA/DNA COA (H36614).

      The next ball is an official National League ball signed by Hall of Famer Enos Slaughter. “Country” signed his name in the sweet spot of the ball in black ballpoint pen. This 10-time all-star was not only a great ballplayer, but he sacrificed three years of his Major League career to serve his country in World War Two. This item comes with a PSA/DNA certification (S52643).

      The final ball is signed by New York Yankees pitcher Whitey Ford. Ford, whose number 16 was retired by the Yankees, signed his name in blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot of the ball. Under his name he inscribed “HOF ’74”. In addition to this, he wrote his career ERA (2.75) to the right of his name, and “61 Cy” and “61 WS MVP” to the left. Ford ended his career a 6-time World Series champ. This item comes with a PSA/DNA certification (4A31369).

      The final item in this lot is a signed photograph of Philadelphia Phillies speedster Richie Ashburn Ashburn, a 1995 inductee into the MLB Hall of Fame, is pictured standing in foul territory in Shibe Park. The Tilden Flash signed this photograph in gold pen, inscribing “HoF ‘95” and “1950 Whiz Kids” underneath his name. Ashburn, a beloved announcer for the Phillies after his retirement, had his statue erected inside of the Phillies new ballpark. This photo measures 26”x24”.
