Albert Pujols has spent the better part of two decades punishing pitchers in the American and National Leagues. As a member of the St. Louis Cardinals Pujols won three NL MVP Awards and captured two World Series titles. Pujols left St. Louis in 2012 to try his luck in the American League as a member of the Los Angeles Angels. His time on the west coast has been nothing if not productive, reaching 500 home runs for his career with the Angels.
The item offered here is a bobblehead commemorating Pujols’ historic accomplishment. Pujols is standing on a red pedestal, wearing his white Angels home jersey, pointing both index fingers to the sky in celebration. The number 500 is placed in front of Pujols in large, gold text. The bottom of the pedestal reads “Albert Pujols 500 Career Home Runs.” Pujols signed the brim of his red batting helmet in blue Sharpie pen. This limited edition bobblehead is one of the rarest pieces of Pujols memorabilia available to the public. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04486).
