This 30” miniature bat was either a stadium souvenir or a give away at
special games. The center brand reads “Official Ty Cobb Ball Bat Made In
USA 1909” and shows various marks and indentations throughout. A sliver
about 7” long has been taken out of the barrel and a knot has created
some cracking adjacent to that. The Wright & Ditson Victor indoor bat
shows heavy use and a beautiful dark patina. The handle has been cracked
and the wood grain is separating along the barrel giving it a very
vintage look.
