In this lot are 17 photos from the 1961 All-Star Game played at Fenway Park. Of the 17 photos is a bird’s eye view of Fenway Park, followed by two pictures of Eddie Kasko playing in infield taking out Luis Aparicio, and Brooks Robinson, two pictures of mangers Paul Richards and Danny Murtaugh, two pictures of starting pitchers Bunning and Maconey in their respective team uniforms, a picture of Mantle and Schwall, a picture of Roger Maris, Orlando Cepeda, and Jim Gentile all holding a bat except for Maris, a photo of Luis Aparicio leaping to escape the spikes of Willie Mays, a photo of Chief Umpire Larry Napper taking off his facemask and chest pad in a suit and tie, and another of Fenway Park with the opposing teams lined up along the foul lines. All photos are monochrome and are in excellent condition.
