Presented here is an official RIAA “Gold” award plaque for the album “The Art of Storytelling” by British-American rapper, Slick Rick. This album featured successful singles such as “Street Talking” and “Unify”. This album would serve as the fourth and final album by Slick Rick and would his highest –charting album, peaking at number eight on the Billboard 200, and number one on R&B/Hip Hop Albums. This plaque certifies that the album sold over 500,000 copes as indicated by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This plaque features a gold album on the top, while the bottom left features a copy of the C.D., and a cassette on the bottom right. This plaque stands 17 x 21 ½ inches.
