Presented is a 2009 Mariano Rivera Inaugural Season New York Yankees Stadium jacket. Rivera was arguably one of the most devastating relief pitchers to ever grace the sport. Rivera is the MLB’s career leader in saves (652) as well as games finished (952). This jacket is manufactured by G- III, by Carl Banks, and is a size large. The jacket sports a navy blue color, with a leather color and leather sleeves. The front features a “NY” logo in white tackle twill sewn on the upper left chest. The back features a big “Yankee Stadium 2009 Inaugural Season” patch sewn in the center, to commemorate their new stadium which had opened that year. Rivera has signed next to this patch on the upper left in silver ink. Included with this jacket is LOA from JSA (Z19307).
