The 2009-10 season was a memorable one for fans of the New Orleans Saints. Achieving a franchise record 13 wins, the unstoppable Saints offense marched to Super Bowl XLIV, where they ran into Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. Drew Brees and Co. swept aside the Colts 31-17, leaving Sun Life Stadium as Super Bowl Champions for the first time in franchise history.
This helmet is gold, with a fleur-de-lis decal on each side of the helmet. A black and white stripe runs over the center of the crown of the helmet. The shell of this helmet has been signed by nine members of the Lombardi Trophy-winning New Orleans Saints. Signatures include Drew Brees, Reggie Bush, Robert Meachem, Marques Colston, Pierre Thomas, Tracy Porter, Lance Moore, Darren Sharper, and the late Will Smith. The signatures have been written in black marker. This gold helmet comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04090).
