Featured are two fight used Muhammad Ali water bottles. Arguably, the most famous boxing star of all time, Muhammad Ali cemented his legacy as one of the best heavyweight fighters of all time, as well as pound for pound, one of the greatest to ever step into the squared circle. Ali, a true showman, was never afraid to grab hold of the mic. However, it was his boxing skills that did most of the talking. A true pioneer of the sport, Ali captured the hearts of many throughout his years as a reigning heavyweight champion, having held the crown several times in his career as well as defending it. These water bottles were used during his bout with Ron Lyle on May 16, 1975, where he successfully defended his title by stopping Lye in the 11th round. These bottles are heavily taped, as it appears they are made of glass and they read “Ali’s”. This treasure comes direct from the collection of Lou “Booty” Beltrami, a very close friend of Muhammad Ali. Beltrami attended almost every one of Ali’s fights from 1972-on, and fight fans may remember the boxer saying hello to “Booty” on national TV when his friend could not make it in person. These bottles come with a Letter of Authenticity from the family of Lou “Booty” Beltrami.
