Vladimir Guerrero wore these cleats during the 2009 season, his final year with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Guerrero hit 15 home runs that season, which was abbreviated due to injury. Widely recognized as one of the best and most electrifying hitters of the 2000’s, Vlad won the 2004 American League MVP award with the Angels. He retired in 2012, ending his career with 449 home runs and a stellar .318 batting average.
These Adidas cleats are red and navy, with white Adidas stripes on each side. The tongue has red-on-white text that reads “VLAD.” A red-on-white Adidas logo is applied to each heel. Guerrero signed these cleats in silver Sharpie on the toe of each cleat, adding his number “27” to his signature. He also inscribed “GAME USED” on each cleat. The spikes show good signs of game use, with a lot of dirt stuck to the bottom. These shoes come with individual LOAs from PSA/DNA LOA (AC04493, AC04494) for the signatures and a LOA from JT Sports for the game use.
