These ticket stubs are from the third game of the 1938 World Series. The New York Yankees swept the Chicago Cubs in 1938 to claim the World Series victory. After winning two games in Chicago the Yankees returned home for game three where Joe Gordon and Bill Dickey each hit home runs in support of Monte Pearson complete game pitching performance to see the Yankees to their third victory of the series. One of the stubs appears to be in Excellent condition with the other two being Good to Very Good.
