Current Boston Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval had spent his early career with the San Francisco Giants. Known as “Kung -Fu Panda”, Sandavol would make a name for himself in the 2011 season when he would be selected to join the NL All-Star team, and help them secure a victory over the American League. It would be his 2012 season however, where he would reach the World Series against the Detroit Tigers and in Game 1 hit three home runs, only the fourth player in history to do that. This earned him the 2012 World Series MVP. This featured hat is a New Era , Authentic Collection, size 7 ½ , and black and orange with the San Francisco interlocking “SF” logo on the front. A 2012 World Series logo adorned the left panel of the hat. On the orange brim is located Sandoval’s signature in black ink and inscribed: “48 Game Used W.S 2012 MVP”. The underside of the brim is inscribed: “Yoleadny Melanie And My New Baby Los Amo Mucho Por /ustedes Estoy Aqui Dios Negro”. This cap appears to be game used as indicated by the inscription. This hat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04502) and the hat is being sold as-is in terms of game use.
