No boxer captured what it meant to be a heavyweight champion quite like Muhammad Ali. He was brash, he talked trash, and he backed it up with his thundering fists. Ali finished his boxing career with a 50 and 6 record against some of boxings greatest heroes. Ali was well known for his rivalry with Joe Frazier. These two giants fought each other three times, including in a fight billed as “The Fight of the Century.” Ali first won the heavyweight title against Sonny Liston in 1964.

The item offered here is a green leather WBC championship belt signed by Muhammad Ali. Ali signed this belt in gold Sharpie using his birth name, Cassius Clay. This belt features a large, gold, circular WBC logo that is flanked by small pictures of legendary heavyweights, including Ali, Frazier, Joe Louis, and Mike Tyson. There is a small piece of the British flag from portion of the centerpiece that surrounds the boxer that has broken off. It is included with the belt, but is not intact. The back of the belt features a large gold buckle. This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (5A02224).
