Offered here is a lot of five baseballs signed by some of the most important pitchers of the 20th century, including Bob Gibson and Don Drysdale.

The first ball, a Rawlings Brown OAL ball, is signed by former Dodger Don Drysdale in black Sharpie on the sweet spot. Drysdale is a Hall of Famer who won the Cy Young Award in 1962, when it was awarded to the best pitcher in baseball, not the best pitcher in each league. Drysdale is also known for his incredible streak of 58 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings pitched. This item comes with a PSA/DNA COA (AC41485).

The second ball is signed by Bob Gibson, a Hall of Fame fireballer who pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals. Gibson was one of the best strikeout pitchers of all time, and won two Cy Young Awards as well as the 1968 NL MVP Award. Gibson signed this Rawlings ONL White ball in blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot. This item comes with a PSA/DNA COA (AC41486).

Ball number three is signed by Lew Burdette, who enjoyed a 17-year career playing for the New York Yankees, the Boston/Milwaukee Braves, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the California Angels. Burdette was a consistent ace who won the 1957 World Series MVP Award for the Milwaukee Braves. In Game 7 against the Yankees, Burdette threw a 9-inning shutout on only two days rest, in a performance reminiscent of the great Christy Mathewson. This item comes with a PSA/DNA COA (AC41487).

The fourth ball is signed by Tommy John, whose excellent playing career has been overshadowed by his status as a medical pioneer. John accumulated 288 career wins over a staggering 26 seasons. In 1974 John damaged his ulnar collateral ligament, leading to revolutionary surgery to replace the damaged ligament. Today, this surgery is called Tommy John Surgery and it has saved the careers of countless pitchers. John signed this Rawlings Brown OAL ball on the sweet spot in black Sharpie. This item comes with a PSA/DNA COA (AC41489).

The final ball is signed by Preacher Roe, a star for the post-war Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Dodgers. Roe was named to five NL All-Star teams, helped in no small part by his nasty spitball. Roe’s best season came in 1951. At 35 he was deemed past his prime, but despite his advanced age, Roe threw 257.2 innings on his way to a 22-3 record and a berth in the 1951 All-Star Game. He signed this Rawlings ONL White ball in black ballpoint pen on the sweet spot of the ball. This item comes with a PSA/DNA COA (AC41488).

Lot of (5) Single Signed Baseballs - Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale, Lew Burdette, Preacher Roe and Tommy John (PSA/DNA)
