Although eternally overshadowed by his older brother Joe, Dom DiMaggio was an excellent baseball player in his own right. A seven-time All-Star for the Boston Red Sox, Dom finished his career with an excellent .298 batting average. DiMaggio’s best season came in 1950, when he led the American League in runs, triples, and stolen bases to go with a .328 batting average. Along with Joe and oldest brother Vince, Dom was part of baseball’s first family, even if they disappointed their father Giuseppe by not becoming fishermen.
This Rawlings OML Selig ball is signed by DiMaggio in blue ballpoint pen in the sweet spot of the ball. This ball is graded a Mint 9 by PSA/DNA. This item comes with a PSA/DNA authentication sticker for the autograph (J30706) and for the grade (82035465).
