Kirby Puckett used this H&B Louisville Slugger C243 Model baseball bat between the 1987-89 seasons. Puckett solidified his Hall of Fame bona fides those years, cumulatively hitting for a .342 batting average and averaging 20 home runs and 102 RBI per 162 games. The Minnesota Twins outfielder also led the American League in hits each year. In each of those seasons Puckett finished in the top 10 of American League MVP voting and picked up a Gold Glove, Silver Slugger, and All-Star appearance.

The bat used by this Hall of Famer is slightly cracked, and displays moderate use. This ash stick is all black, and the handle shows a light coat of Mota stick. Puckett wrote his number, “34,” on the knob of the bat. Puckett signed the barrel in silver Sharpie, adding the inscription “To Lloyd Mc[Clendon] your buddy.” Puckett also added his “34” to the signature. This item comes with a PSA/DNA LOA (1B10919) for game use. The signature has been authenticated by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication and comes with a COA (B09511).
