Chris Chester wore this 1937-themed throwback jersey during the Washington Redskins 21-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers on November 4, 2012. Chester played every offensive snap of this game for the Redskins. This loss dropped the Redskins to 3-6, but the team from D.C would rebound, winning their last seven games to earn a playoff berth. While the ‘Skins lost in the Wild Card round, this was still an extremely impressive comeback to make the playoffs.
This burgundy jersey features Chester’s number “68” sewn on the front and back in gold-on-white tackle twill. “CHESTER” is written across the back shoulders in gold tackle twill. Circular Redskins logos are placed on each sleeve. The phrase “Team, Effort, Tradition” is sewn into the inside back collar in gold thread. A Nike size “46” tag is sewn on the back inside collar with “2012” and “+4 LENGTH” flags attached.
Chester’s gold pants are included with this jersey. The pants feature a gold belt, vinyl NFL shield, and burgundy Nike swoosh. A Nike size “42” tag is attached to the waistband of the pants. “66” is written in Sharpie on the tag. This uniform comes with a MeiGray LOA (147060-jersey and 147059-pants).
