Featured is a black and white photograph of standout pitcher Fred Fitzsimmons. Known as “Fat Freddie”, Fitzsimmons played with the New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers throughout his career. Fat Freddie was a master of the knuckle curve, and his 217 wins were the third most by a National League right hander from 1920 – 1955. He would also win a World Series in 1933 as a pitcher and again in 1954 as a coach. This photograph features his signature written in blue ink at the bottom and inscribed: “Best Wishes”. This photograph is matted and framed standing 17 x 18 ½ inches and has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
